Emily Hardcastle, LCSW, co-owner and Director of Therapy and Assessment Services at Nashville Child and Family Wellness Center, is a licensed clinical social worker with advanced training in child and adolescent development, assessment, and evidence-based therapies. Joining her is Cory Williams, MS, BCN, QEEG-T, Director of their Neuromodulation and TMS Programs. Cory is a nationally board-certified neurofeedback provider and quantitative EEG technologist with extensive expertise in brain mapping, neuroplasticity, and neuromodulation. His work focuses on helping patients strengthen brain function and improve cognitive and emotional regulation. Together, they will talk about how teenage brain development impacts Executive Function skills. After that, the Academic Support Team will walk through specific strategies and study skills. Then Emily and Cory will return to explain why these strategies can be particularly challenging for boys to put into practice — and offer practical tools and insights to help parents and educators support them effectively.
