Right now, our library is a resource for our McGavock community to support our curriculum with resources and instruction, for independent study, to promote reading for pleasure, or you can just visit the library staff because we are so wonderful in Library LIVE Teams meetings!

Hey Seniors! We are so proud of you, and we couldn’t be prouder!! Wait…we could if you would bring back your laptop 💻 (due by May 14) and library 📚 books! We are open this week—bring back your laptop when you finish your last exam.

We were so honored to have a special guest today, who met with our US History and World History students. Her name is Renee Fink, and she is a Holocaust child survivor. Temnessee Holocaust Commission’s Alison Vick interviewed Renee, and then several students asked great questions! Renee inspired our students to speak up for who are being bullied and mistreated, and to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.
C/O ‘26!! Next Thursday, May 7th, the Nashville Public Library will be at the SOUTH T during lunches. Stop by to pick up your brand new public library card and get adulting started early! They’ll have samples of all the reasons you NEED this card!! Also—did you know your Student ID will not be a library card anymore.

And that’s opening for Clue! Two more performances are FREE and open tot eh public tonight and tomorrow, at 7:00pm. Come by to see, “Who done it?”

Students, it’s ACT and Pre-ACT test day tomorrow! 1. All students must bring their fully charged laptop 2. 12th graders must bring a school or state ID 3. Restart your laptop to run updates 4. Seniors will retake the ACT for a better score or take it for the first time to meet the graduation requirement
