HELP BUILD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS! WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR FEEDBACK!
Visit bit.ly/CommunitySchoolsNash to take the short survey
Since August, the Community Schools Coalition has been working with Glencliff, Antioch, Maplewood, and Whites Creek high schools as well as community organizations to transform schools within MNPS to community-led institutions.
In order to build community and gather feedback, please fill out this short survey. This will allow us, members of the Community Schools Coalition, to determine which needs are greatest within our community and how we can establish networks of care inside and outside of schools.
When you complete this survey, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card, a $30 Uber Eats gift card, or a $20 Uber Eats gift card.

This should’ve never happened!
We need cops out of our schools for the safety of our schools, students, and community.
Justice for Mona Rodriguez, her family, and the countless victims of police violence.

34 schools in MNPS are sharing a nurse…..
It’s outrageous that we’re even entertaining the idea of more cops in schools or debating about the efficacy of mask-wearing!
Contact your school board members and council members and demand that they reallocate the funding for SROs and hire more nurses in our public schools! You can find more information in our bio.

“When funds are stolen out from under children in the depths of poverty to fund schools that can expel with impunity.
Where it's better to abandon a child than try helping me.
Where that $7,000 won't be enough to save me from the undertow of the school-to-prison pipeline.
Somehow, we’re supposed to be fine in our lifeboat while we leave a fleet of drowning brown kids behind.

When I don't know how to rhyme. But I see every Black girl hoping for tomorrow and hoping she gets her time
That maybe I can persuade someone to legislate with love, because of these fears of mine”
