I đ this! A great way to express what I think/feel. Sheryl Smith-Iszler Melissa Bassett
Just thinking about my childhood friends, my young adult friends, my friends who have gotten me through every age and every season.
And I wanted to say thank you.
Whether weâre distant Facebook friends now, weâve completely lost touch, or we still talk all the timeâŚ
You meant a whole lot to me and you still do.
Your friendship helped me through some of my most pivotal years of life.
I think of you more often than you know.
I wouldnât be me without you.
Love,
Me

For the last 10 minutes of each STEAM Lab (hopefully) students have a choice to work on projects of their choice. Engineering was very popular last week!

This past week in STEAM students were introduced or refreshed on the subject of engineering. Older students discussed the ENGINEERING DESIGN PROCESS and âlabeledâ their thinking as they planned and built bridges. Younger STEAMies explored different designs as they created their bridges!

Anderson was excited to welcome back Ms. Becky Stokely (music) and Ms. Catherine Hamilton (PE) this year! We were also thrilled to add Ms. Ali Jarratt Campbell who moved from kindergarten to Librarian. And Last but certainly not least help us to welcome Ms. Eden Fryar to Anderson as our new Art teacher. Change is hard⌠but these wonderful ladies are a great team!

This week we dove right in to what the âSâ means in STEAM. We identified science careers, described how scientists gather evidence using their five senses and finally explored using our senses to identify items through touch, smell, sight and sound.

For the first 2 visits to the STEAM Lab students learn safety and procedures. They have time each class to explore science, engineering and maker space areas.
