Another Christmas gathering behind us. Fun, food, and fellowship made for a joyous afternoon. The only thing missing were those members who couldn’t join us. 2026, here we come. Keeping ourselves and our sistahhood together — one stitch at a time.

Vanderbilt University and Zuri Quilting Guild Collaboration. Happy that members Betty Turner Alyssa Peacock Leonard Gertrude Brooks and Casandra L. Allen were able to participate and represent Zuri Quilting Circle.
Vanderbilt University was thrilled to support “Stitched Stories: A Children’s Literature and Quilting Journey,” an inspiring after-school program held this past spring at Metro Nashville Public Schools' Ida B. Wells Elementary.
The program was funded by Vanderbilt’s Community Engagement Collaboration Fund, which supports partnerships between Vanderbilt and local organizations to address community needs.

A beautiful afternoon of fellowship at Zuri’s Installation of New Officers Celebration hosted at Amerigo’s Italian Restaurant/Nashville. Incoming President/ Davis-Scott, Vice Predident/Kosher Briley , Secretary/Casandra L. Allen, Treasurer/Betty Turner. Congratulations!! We’re looking forward to our future!! Sincere appreciation to our former officers for their leadership (Shay Howard, President/ Katharine Brown, Vice President/ Kosher Briley, Secretary/ Andi Tyler, Treasurer). And, a special “Thank you!” to Brooke Bell, our very own cheerleader for your encouraging spirit and leadership through the years.
