✨ Grateful beyond words. Last week we gathered with our Cohort 8 Compass Camp partners for the first time, where we got to dig in to how schools can create communities where every student and educator feels seen, connected, and like they truly belong. The energy, courage, and love from these incredible schools reminded us why this work matters so deeply. 💙
Here’s to carrying the sparks from this first training back to schools in NYC, New Orleans, Santa Fe, Las Vegas, and LA. Together, we’re building schools that don’t just teach—but transform. 🌍💫

📣 CERTIFIECATION ANNOUNCEMENT!📣

We’re thrilled to welcome two more campuses from our longtime partners at into the Powered by Compass Certified network!

Three years ago, Vista launched a brand-new Elementary and Middle School campus—Vista Metro North—led by founding principals Mary Ashley Federer and Luke Savidge. From day one, these schools embedded Compass practices into their foundation, launching Compass Camp while simultaneously opening their doors. That’s no small feat—and they’ve done it with persistence, purpose, and a whole lot of joy.

This year, the Metro North team continued to raise the bar, serving as exemplar “lab” Circles for our program and helping us capture powerful videos of Compass in action with our youngest learners.

We welcomed a group of teachers to the Compass Center today to focus on their wellbeing and sustainability.

Day one of our Balance Over Burnout Workshop focuses on the Stress Cycle, how we get caught in 'stuck' states of stress, and what we can do to help our bodies and minds become unstuck.

Teacher wellbeing is critical and we love being able to walk alongside such incredible humans to sustain in their roles for the long haul! 👩‍🏫🧑‍🏫❤️

Last week was the final training for our dear Cohort 6 schools! They're on their way to certification this Spring and will soon be in our growing crew of Certified Powered by Compass Schools.

We couldn't be more proud of this group of educators. They have tirelessly put in the work and dedication to implement Compass as a core component of their school community. The stories of growth and connection we hear from their schools are what make it all worth it.
