Are you ready to put in the work?

Everyone wants to be successful, rich, or famous but never thinks about the amount of work needed to be successful? Steve Jobs, the creator of Apple, started in his garage and worked his way up. No one wakes up one morning and automatically becomes successful and has 5 Grammys.

You have to work for what you want and put in the work.

You have to think about the steps that you need to take to become successful. Think of it like making a cake, you need your ingredients and utensils, you can’t just close your eyes and open them and a cake will appear. You have to work for it!!!

By proactively structuring my time and setting priorities, I can give my full attention to being in the moment and reduce the levels of anxiety that may arise while getting the job done.

Organizing your time will also limit distractions. When what you have to focus on for that day is clearly defined, it is more difficult for persons or outside distractions to get you off the path.

Don't let fear keep you from living.

Fear has a nasty way of trying to creep up on you when you are on the precipice of doing something great.

Just when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, it squirms its way in as it reminds you of everything that could go wrong.

It tells you that you don’t have what it takes and goes as far as to convince you that even if you were able to accomplish your goal, the impact would be mediocre at best ⁠

Everyone has the right to have different goals.⁠
⁠
Mine might be to build a house on my land by a certain age, but yours might be something unique for you. Yours may be to [safely] travel to 20 countries over the next five years.⁠
⁠
You shouldn't have to or try to make your goals fit into what other people are doing. Everyone has been through so many different things, and so they will naturally focus on aspects of their life that speak to their experiences and needs.⁠
⁠
Don't try to change your goals to align with what others might perceive as "good goals." Don't get scared when you aren't following the crowd.⁠
