Happy National Coming Out Day!
My coming out story isn't triumphant or very exciting, but I'm still glad I did it.
I came out as bisexual at 35 in a Facebook post because I was too afraid to have actual conversations with some people.
When I did have those difficult conversations, they were full of tears and left me with trauma I may never fully get over.
I'm pretty alienated from most of my family...and I'm pretty sure I made that worse when I left the Christian faith for a different spiritual path. ๐
But
The alternative to being alienated because of my sexuality and spirituality was what? Living an inauthentic life? No, thank you.
My truth is that I like men, women, and everything in between. And I pretty much always have.
If you are afraid that coming out will be scary, or that you'll lose people, please know that there are people out here who WILL love and accept you for who you are.
Don't be afraid to be who you are. (But please don't put yourself in danger.)
No one deserves to be judged for who they love. ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโงโค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ค

Let's talk about Kesha, a very talented Manifestor you may have heard of. ๐
Kesha Rose Sebert is an American singer and songwriter. She's been on the music scene since 2009, when she was featured in Flo-Rida's single "Right Round."
Her colorful style, diverse music catalog, and academic prowess (hello almost perfect score on the SATs) make her the perfect example of a Manifestor.
I think one of the things that fascinates me the most about her chart is that she has channel 2551, the Channel of Initiation (aka the channel of shamans and priestesses). ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ
This means she's naturally connected to Spirit, which could be why she sang, "I knew from the start I don't belong in these parts," in the song "Spaceship." ๐ฝ๐ธ
Kesha is here to create peace in the world around her, no matter what is happening in her life.
She has conquered legal battles, misogyny and sexual assault, an eating disorder, and poverty (early in life), but still maintains a sense of wonder, thanks to her unconscious moon in gate 61. ๐
Although she's known for her colorful, 1980s sense of style, and party hits like "Tik-Tok," there's more than meets the eye to Kesha. ๐
Did you know she wrote over 200 songs for her first album? Obviously they weren't all released, but that's some serious creative energy right there! โก๐จ
Do you have a favorite Kesha song? I have 2 - Praying and Spaceship. ๐ถ

Life & Biz Update:
You may or may not be aware that I have caught the Rona. I am currently writing this post from bed while watching Lucifer on Netflix. ๐
I'm quarantined until at least October 10, so I can't physically go to work...which is less of a problem than you might think because I quit my job 2 days before I found out I have COVID. ๐
I am job hunting, but obviously not in person at the moment. However, I'm also working on my biz, and I've got some great things coming this month! ๐
Starting next week, I'll be posting a series about the 5 Human Design types on Instagram. So if you want to learn more about them, keep following. ๐๏ธ
You can be in my energy by booking a Human Design reading, signing up for my Which Witch Weekly Newsletter, and following me on Tiktok (@ iamjenmichelle), where I make videos about my life & biz. ๐
As an added bonus, if you're a member of the Settling Down Everywhere community, I'll be doing an intro to tarot workshop there on October 27th. ๐ฎ
I hope to hang out with you in one way or another during one of my favorite months of the year! (My kiddo's birthday month & the spookiest month) ๐

I've noticed a lot of new faces around here, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. ๐ฅฐ
I'm Jen, and I'm the Cosmic Human Design Witch.
What does this mean, you might ask? Well, it means I'm a Spiritual Life Coach who specializes in Human Design.
I say Cosmic because my business framework is literally S.P.A.C.E. ๐ธ
*Spirituality
*Purpose
*Asking for Support
*Creativity
*Education
I recently chose to specialize in Human Design after studying it for a while, and being asked by a few friends to learn how to read charts.
I had my own chart read in December by , and it was the first time in a long time that I felt truly SEEN. ๐
That's my goal during my readings. I want to show you how amazing you are by design, as well as educate you on how to follow your strategy & authority.
Other ways to connect with me:
-Listen to the Intuition Vortex podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. ๐๏ธ
-Subscribe to the Which Witch Weekly Newsletter. Link in bio. ๐
-Follow me on Tiktok (same username). ๐
Fun facts about me:
My first tattoo was also my biggest. It's a 6 inch unicorn head in the style of a sketch. I thought about getting it for 10 years before I got it. I only have 4 tattoos, and they're all of animals that mean something to me symbolically. ๐ฆ
Do you have any tattoos? Tell me what they are below! ๐

I feel like just told me in a nice, "spiritual" way that I'm having a mid-life crisis. ๐

This quote sums up my thoughts on life right now.โ
โ
My life has taken multiple turns over the last couple of years, not even counting the global pandemic that affected every single person alive on this planet.โ
โ
I have gone through a literal and energetic clearing of many toxic things, places, and people. I've lost friends, family, money, jobs (yes, I resigned from my last job, but it was still a loss), etc.โ
โ
I feel like someone secretly slipped me some moldavite without my knowledge, lol. (If you know, you know.)โ
โ
All I can think is that these Tower Card moments I've been experiencing over and over since 2019 (and really going back to 2017, when I experienced surgery trauma, a car accident, identity fraud, etc.) MUST have a purpose. โ
โ
I am being pulled away from the things that don't serve me, and led towards...what, exactly? โ
โ
I know what I want in life, and have a clear idea of what I don't want, too. (Yet, I keep going back to things I don't want...often out of survival instinct/trauma responses.)โ
โ
I don't know what tomorrow holds for me, but for today, at this moment, I am focused on both my healing and future building. Both are priorities.โ
โ
What are your priorities right now? โ
โ
(FYI, I put that the quote in the image was "possibly" Marilyn Monroe because some sources say that she wasn't the one who said it. Those sources don't know who did say it, so I am giving her partial credit. If you know the real source, please let me know.)โ

I made something for you! โ
โ
Maybe you noticed me say I wanted to create a weekly email newsletter to send you every week...maybe you didn't.โ
โ
Either way, I've created it! It's called Which Witch Weekly, thanks to my former business coach , who suggested that name when I told her I wanted to start a newsletter. โ
โ
Every week, I'll highlight a different witch or magical human I love, talk about different things going on in the world, and share what's happening in my life. โ
โ
Honestly, with Instagram moving more towards video, I feel like this is the right move for me now. I'm all for video (I even have a Tiktok - same username), but I've always been more comfortable expressing myself in the written word.โ
โ
I was moved to do this thanks to badass entrepreneurs like and . Their newsletters inspire me, motivate me, and make me feel seen. Please go follow them and sign up for their newsletters, too!โ
โ
I'll probably write WWW every Tuesday, and send it out on Wednesdays. (Why not stick with the W theme, right?) โ
โ
Yesterday I wrote this week's edition, so if you want me to send it to you, DM me your email address & I'll add you to the list! (You can always unsubscribe, of course.)โ

Vulnerable share...
If you've been around here a while, you know I left my job of 6.5 years with the post office in December of 2020.
The 2nd and 3rd slide in this post came up in my Timehop memories today...and they got me thinking.
When I first got the job at the post office, I was sure I had found the job that was going to save me.
My last job before the USPS was as a part time cashier at Home Depot.
Before that, I was (in reverse chronological order) :
-A daycare teacher/head teacher over the toddler room
-A pizza delivery driver
-A substitute cafeteria worker for schools
-A call center operator
-A home daycare helper
-A picker/packer at a computer processing center
-A furniture finance clerk
-A receptionist at a staffing agency
-A waitress
..
You get the picture. I'm pretty much a Jen-of-All-Trades. ๐
The only problem is, the highest wage I ever earned before I got the post office job was $11/hour. And that was in Nashville, which was kind of an expensive place to live.
So of course, I was sure the post office would "save me," financially speaking. I was sure I'd have a safe, secure career there.
What I realized after 6.5 years was that I was ONLY working at the post office for the money. I was absolutely miserable there.
It wasn't aligned to what I believe to be my purpose, I was being frequently harassed in various ways there, and it was wearing me down physically and mentally.
I've been struggling with my finances lately (just being honest), but I don't regret leaving that job.
I needed a complete career reset, as well as a spiritual and personal reset.
So here I am. Almost 40 and starting over. Again.
Who knows where I'll be 6.5 years from now...?
Will I have a thriving life coaching business? Will I be an award-winning author? Will I have thousands of downloads per week on my podcast?
Honestly, I'm down for any & all of the above. Your move, Universe. ๐๐
