All the way from Southaven, Mississippi , Makyla is pursuing a career within psychology here at Tennessee State University. With a true passion for creativity and content creation. Vibrant like her favorite color blue ; whether she’s capturing pictures or engaging video content, she’s all about showing the world her unique, artistic perspective—and we cannot wait to see that creativity shine here!

As our Media Marketing Specialist and Secretary Assistant (work-study), Makyla is your go-to person here for anything you need Need help navigating the lab's resources ? Need help creating captivating visuals or brainstorming fresh ideas? She’s your girl! Let’s give a warm welcome to Aaliyah Scott, the newest member of our team!

Originally from the Miami, Florida, Aaliyah is a junior here at Tennessee State University , majoring in psychology. All about living life to the fullest whether its doing the things she loves such as: skating trying new foods and all in all making long lasting memories, Aliyah knows how to embrace the moment.

As our new secretary (work-study), she’s your go-to person for anything that you need. Always ready to lend a helping hand with a big smile, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that you feel supported every step of the way. She's exceptional in making sure you feel supported.

We are thrilled to welcome Deja Parker to our team as our new Media Coordinator (work-study)!

Deja is a junior ; psychology major here at Tennessee state university all the way from Detroit, Michigan. She brings creative and insightful perspective to our team, and we are excited to see how her passion for media and psychology will contribute to our lab's success.

Deja’s favorite color is blue, and she enjoys immersing herself in the world of books, particularly romance and sci-fi genres. Her love for storytelling and imagination perfectly complements her role here at Gracie OTL as your Media Coordinator, where she will be responsible for enhancing our online presence and connecting with our audience (you) in innovative ways.
