School is almost over… but learning doesn’t just pause.

Whether your child needs a quick boost, consistent support, or a full plan going into summer… it’s already in place.
No guesswork. No wasted time. Just real progress.
Spots are limited as we head into summer scheduling.

The Comparison Trap Part II
The comparison trap doesn’t just show up. It gets reinforced.
Social media highlights. Classroom pressure. Constant ranking.
Now students aren’t focused on learning. They’re focused on keeping up.
That’s where confidence drops and frustration starts to build.
Shift the focus back to growth, not comparison. Progress looks different for every student, and that’s the point.
Break the cycle before it becomes their mindset.

Most parents aren't trying to cause harm...they’re just trying to correct behavior.
BUT - repeated frustration can quickly turn into a "Shame Spiral."
When correction feels like judgment, kids stop asking for help. They don't just think they made a mistake; they start to think they are the mistake.

Fractions. Multiplication. Word problems.
It adds up fast when your kid is stuck and frustrated.
Drop HW in the comments.
We'll take it from there.
Their greatest strength isn't in the applause. It's in who they become when no one's watching.
Parenting isn’t a performance.
It’s a practice.
The comparison trap steals joy, confidence, and progress.
When students constantly measure themselves against others—grades, sports, looks, popularity—they forget their own strengths.
Stop the cycle. 🎯

Education Department Moves to Shut Down SAVE Plan
The end of a major repayment option pushes millions into higher bills and uncertain forgiveness timelines.
The Education Department is moving to end the SAVE repayment plan after a proposed settlement with Missouri. More than 7 million borrowers will be pushed into new repayment options after officials called SAVE an illegal program that placed too much cost on taxpayers. Payments will rise for many borrowers who previously qualified for zero dollar bills or reduced monthly amounts under SAVE.
The department says borrowers will get a limited window to choose a new plan, and current progress toward forgiveness may be disrupted. Advocates warn the shift creates immediate confusion for families trying to budget loan payments, especially as the administration prepares to replace all current repayment plans next year with a standard plan and a new income based option set to launch July 1, 2026.
Millions of households now have to reassess their repayment strategy as one of the most widely used plans comes to an end.
Eden Prairie High School Locked Down After Report of Gun on Campus
Three 16-year-olds were arrested as police moved fast to contain the threat and confirm whether the weapon ever entered the building.
Eden Prairie High School went into lockdown Friday after police investigated a report that a student brought a gun to campus. The lockdown began at 10:37 a.m. and was lifted at 11:04. Police say three 16-year-old boys were arrested, including one who had a gun. Two were taken into custody off campus and one was arrested at the school. Officials are still confirming whether the weapon ever entered the building.
Classes resumed once the hold ended at 11:16, and the school’s support team checked in with every classroom. Parents and students in the Twin Cities have been navigating a rise in safety scares this year, and moments like this highlight how fast schools and police now respond to campus threats while trying to keep learning on track.
Takeaway: Clear protocols and quick action kept students safe, but the emotional toll on teens and staff is real and ongoing.

The Legacy Rod Paige Left Behind Still Shapes Local School District(s)
His push for accountability changed how the nation tracks student progress and forced a long overdue look at achievement gaps.
Rod Paige, the first African American US Secretary of Education, has died at 92. The former Houston superintendent led the department from 2001 to 2005 and helped launch No Child Left Behind, a law that reshaped how schools tracked student progress. His tenure pushed national attention toward achievement gaps and accountability at a time when many districts were struggling to measure outcomes consistently.
For families and educators, Paige’s legacy still shows up in the way schools report performance data and how states monitor support for students who fall behind. His work also helped elevate conversations about equity in education that continue to shape policy today.
Takeaway: Paige changed the national expectations for how schools track learning. Even critics agree his impact is still visible in classrooms across the country.
