Your love and kindness meant the world to me today. Thank you for the beautiful surprises that brought tears to my eyes on Mother's Day.

Friday morning was very busy. My friends worked very hard preparing Mother’s Day cards and planning flowers for their mothers. Our unit this week was Mother’s Day, so I thought it would be a big surprise; I had to wait to post this on Mother’s Day.

Teacher Appreciation Week occurred this week, but it didn't register with me until this morning when Halo brought me gifts. Their thoughtfulness was a wonderful surprise, and I appreciate their kindness. As someone who focuses primarily on the children, I sometimes forget to acknowledge my own efforts, but this gesture served as a reminder. Thank you

The rain persisted throughout the day, prompting us to stay indoors and engage in multiple activities. Our agenda consisted of music and movement practice, practicing writing our names on the easel board, utilizing a cutting box for cutting exercises, and producing art with Q-tip paint. Additionally, we had a storytelling session featuring 'My Nest is the Best' and a discussion about Mother's Day. It was an excellent day.

We had an excellent time celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Our day began with learning new vocabulary words and making sombrero for lunch we had tacos. They really enjoyed making their own. What a great day.
