Yupp! solves ALL world problems 😂😂
We know labels can be placed on all children… especially black and brown kiddos 💪🏾 Love this!
Posted • "My boys are A LOT 🤪 endless energy. One million things to say. Five billion things they need.
And I know the labels that could be placed on them in a public school setting. Labels that could be absolutely detrimental to their confidence and change the way they see themselves for life!
But at home, where I am the teacher, I get to choose the types of “labels” placed on them 💛
Wild? No… EXCITED!
Disruptive? No… FULL OF IDEAS!
Class clown? No.. HILARIOUS!
Words are powerful friends 👍🏼" - Eden
Such a great reminder that our words are powerful and as their mamas and teachers we get the awesome privilege to decide what those words will be 👏
Thanks so much so encouraging homeschool mama Eden for sharing this with us🙌🏼

Our sister shared this amazing curriculum comparison chart! It may seem like a lot, but parents often have questions about curriculum (if they are not unschoolers) ❤️ Check it out

Sensory Activities for our children is very important. It builds fine motor skills and introduces them to different materials.
Sensory activities can be found in the general pre-k curriculum but should not be excluded as children age. I still love the feel of a squash leaf… or the smell of essential oils ❤️❤️
Here are some tips to create cost effective sensorial stations at home:
1. Get a container (it can be a plastic bin, shoe box, cookie sheet, old (and clean take out container)
2. Fill with one of the following: beans, rice, water, ice, cereal (for toddlers), play dough, homemade salt dough, etc…
3. Grab some tongs (mini ones), a meat mallet (for the ice), or let them use their hands.
4. Give them a goal (for the older toddlers) or let them free play
What are some examples of sensory play You use?
