Happy world breastfeeding week x2 to all of the tandem feeding mamas out there!

Posting this because tandem feeding isn’t always perfect, but this moment felt pretty close. Nursing both of my babies at the same time has stretched me, taught me, and connected us in ways I never expected.

Tandem feeding my little ones has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. If you’re in the thick of tandem nursing right now, I see you. You’re doing something really special🩷

August 1-7th is world breastfeeding week, with over 120 countries celebrating. If you know anything about me, you know breastfeeding is something I’ll advocate for until my face turns blue.

This week focuses on honoring the journey of breastfeeding, free from the pressure of perfection or comparison. It’s about acknowledging that feeding is a deeply individual experience, sometimes chaotic, often moving, and always deserving of compassion. The goal is to provide parents with trustworthy guidance, resources that resonate with their reality, and a welcoming community that embraces every story. However you choose to nourish your baby, you’re entitled to respect, encouragement, and unwavering support.

So.. regardless of whether you were able to breastfeed for 2 hours, 2 months, or 2 years, you deserve to be celebrated this week.🩷
