Today would have been the Class of 2020’s graduation. In honor of that, we created a video. This video really showcases some of the great friendships we all made during our three years. I hope that today you all join me in feeling a great deal of accomplishment. A special thank you to Alexis Moffett, who worked so hard to make sure this video was perfect. The SBA is sending a gift to every graduating student. You will receive it with your affirmation letters soon.

Also, the Class of 2020 is gifting two picnic tables to the new BBQ area as our class gift. This gift will serve as a place where friendships will be cultivated for classes to come; how fitting since we were a close-knit class. Congratulations to all of you and I can’t wait to celebrate with you all on August 1!

Ave Maria School of Law The Florida Bar

The 5th Annual Ave Maria School of Law Golf Classic was so much fun! We would love to thank Vanderbilt Country Club for having us, all the wonderful sponsors who helped make this great day possible and all of those within our community who came out to participate. Shout out to Professor Myers for the hole in one! We can’t wait until next year!

We all remember where we were on this day 18 years ago when the unfathomable happened to our country. Thank you to Veteran Law Student Association for putting together such a special remembrance ceremony for those brave souls that sacrificed everything and those who lost their lives and loved ones on this day of utter tragedy. Aside from the memories of the evil that took place on this day let us also not forget the kindness that was exemplified as our country came together to support one another. God Bless America!

Please don’t forget to join us for 1L debate at 7pm tonight in Commons Room 110. It is very important to know those running to represent your class and what better way to do that than over Chinese food. We can’t wait to see you all there!

The Student Bar Association invites all students, faculty, staff, alumni and local attorneys to sign up for our 5th Annual Golf Classic!

Sign up is now open for the 5th Annual Ave Maria Golf Classic at Vanderbilt Country Club on Saturday, October 12th!

The registration fee is $80 which includes greens fees, taxes, cart fee, lunch, polo shirt, and more!

Check-in begins at 8:00AM and you will have access to the driving range up until the shotgun start at 8:30AM. Afterwards, at 1:30PM there will be a reception in the clubhouse with a cash bar and appetizers. Lunch will begin at 2:00PM where there will be a trophy presentation and raffle.
