📚 **Meet the Teacher!** 📚
Hello Poinciana families!
We are excited to invite you to our annual **Meet the Teacher** on Monday, August 12th from 8:30-10:00 A.M. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and parents to meet their teacher, see their classroom, and get a preview of the exciting year ahead!
We look forward to seeing you there and kicking off a fantastic school year together!
Great news! Poinciana Pelicans will be able to purchase popsicles in the cafeteria after eating lunch. They are only $1.00 and are available on the following dates:
- Monday 6th
- Tuesday 13th
- Friday 17th
- Monday 20th
- Wednesday 22nd
- Thursday 23rd
- Tuesday 28th
- Wednesday 29th

PES is excited to announce our Teacher Appreciation Week fundraiser. Students can purchase flowers and a note for their teachers for $2 each. The flower arrangements and notes will be delivered to their teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6th- 10th.
Students will be able to purchase flowers from April 22nd – 26th outside the cafeteria in the mornings from 7:45 until 8:15.

What a great night at Poinciana Elementary School! The Poinciana Elementary School PTO put on a fantastic movie night featuring Trolls Band Together. Special thanks to Children's Dentistry of Naples for their donation and sponsorship! Harmon's Audio Visual did an amazing job with the screen and audio too!

Looking for donations for our cake walk at the Winter Festival this Friday December 1st! Must be store bought and pre packaged. Examples would be whole cakes, slices of cake individually wrapped, cupcakes, cookies, any bakery items prepackaged. Even wrapped snacks of boxed cookies like Oreos, chips ahoy, gold fish, Rice Krispie treats etc. Please drop off Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday to front office. Just keep in mind if it’s fresh from bakery may want to drop off Thursday or Friday and if it’s boxed like Oreos or goldfish that be dropped off earlier as those will be fresh for a while.
Please help us make this a success! We can’t have a cake walk without some yummy baked goods!
