Wow! Way less than I'm worth!!

One of the hardships of aging is that others move on into the next realm. As women we think, "I can handle this". We become stoic and stuff how we feel. We are embarrassed that others can see our grief. But how else do we get through safely? Other women. Pay attention, someone you know may be suffering with grief and just too shy to share it. Be there for them.

I've been praying alot in the last few days. To find that my Florida family is safe is a sure sign that my prayers were answered!! Whether it was the quick "Please keep them safe, God" or the moment I stood looking at the gold and orange of the elm tree in the yard. Maybe it was the sunrise on Oct 9, thinking of my loved ones hunkered down in a fierce storm, I prayed. I pray today for this nation and all that is coming. Be safe all!
