🍀This past weekend, Salesian Sisters from across the country gathered in New Jersey to meet with Sr. Ruth del Pilar Mora, FMA, a prominent leader and the General Councilor for the Missions of the Daughters of Mary, Help of Christians.
Among those in attendance were several beloved SJN Alumni Sisters who faithfully served at St. John Neumann Catholic High School over the past 15 years. It was a joyful moment as they reunited for a special photo, reconnecting with one another and reflecting on the many lives they have touched through their ministry at Neumann.
Thank you, Sisters, for your service, faith, and the love you continue to share with the Neumann family! 🍀

Let us celebrate and thank a truly special member of the St. John Neumann family — Officer Dean — as he retires after 6 years of faithfully serving our campus community. 🍀
For years, Officer Dean has been the first one on campus each morning, bright and early, making sure our students, faculty, and families were safe and cared for. From checking doors and monitoring cameras to directing traffic, setting out cones, and giving students and parents rides on the golf carts, he did every task with dedication, kindness, and a smile.
Officer Dean was so much more than our security guard. He managed our recycling program and taught students the importance of properly honoring and removing the American flag. His steady presence, hard work, and genuine love for our school community touched countless lives.
We don't know what we will do without him managing the campus each day.
Thank you, Officer Dean, for keeping St. John Neumann safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. Your impact on our school will never be forgotten, and you will always be part of the Celtic family. We wish you nothing but joy, relaxation, and blessings in your retirement! ☘️

🎓🍀Congratulations to the St. John Neumann Catholic High School Class of 2026! 🎓🍀
We are incredibly proud of the 101 students who graduated this year and celebrated this milestone surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and the Neumann community. The evening was filled with joy, reflection, and excitement for the future as we honored the accomplishments of this remarkable class.
We were privileged to welcome Victoria Weekley, Associate Director for the Office of Salesian Youth & Young Adult Ministry, as our Commencement Speaker. Her inspiring words encouraged our graduates to continue living lives rooted in faith, service, and purpose. The Salutatorian Address was beautifully delivered by Sophia Bosco, while Thomas O’Brien shared a heartfelt Valedictorian Address that reflected on the memories, friendships, and growth experienced by the Class of 2026.
The night concluded with one of our most cherished traditions as the graduates tossed their caps in front of the Celtic Cross, celebrating the end of one journey and the beginning of another.
Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026! May God bless each of you as you move forward with courage, faith, and Celtic pride. ☘️

Last night, the St. John Neumann Catholic High School community gathered at St. Agnes Catholic Church to celebrate the Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2026. It was a beautiful evening of prayer, reflection, and gratitude as we honored our seniors and the incredible journey that has led them to this milestone moment.
We were especially honored to have Bishop Frank Dewane preside over the Mass and offer words of encouragement and faith to our graduating class as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026! May God continue to guide you as you go forth to lead, serve, and live out your faith in all that you do. 🎓

Ms. Cavness’s Marine Science class wrapped up the school year with an exciting hands-on investigation into one of the ocean’s most well-known invasive species — the lionfish! Students safely removed the venomous spines and explored the fish's internal anatomy through guided dissections, gaining a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems, adaptation, and the environmental impact of invasive species on native habitats.
This unique learning experience was made possible through the Guy Harvey Foundation in partnership with Destin-Fort Walton Beach Natural Resources. Ms. Cavness, a proud Guy Harvey Educator, was selected as one of 200 teachers nationwide to receive lionfish specimens for classroom study. The opportunity allowed students to connect real-world marine conservation issues with hands-on scientific learning, culminating in an engaging and memorable STEM experience.
