I teach sensitive women practical ways to access spirituality and more magic in their lives.

Your intuition (or "gut instinct" as it might more commonly be referred to in the corporate world) is one of the most underrated assets you have in your career.

You know it: It's the feeling that tells you a decision is wrong before data does. The voice that says "this opportunity isn't it" even when everything on paper looks promising. The internal compass that guides you toward the right people, the right shifts, the right next step.

And yet most of us (especially women) have been trained to dismiss it, to call it "just a feeling." To override it with logic, external validation, or whatever others outside of us tells us is more true or urgent.

What I've seen in my seven years as a life and spiritual coach is that the women who are most effective in their careers aren't the most strategic. They're the most connected to themselves, to what they actually want, and with the ability to trust their deep inner knowing.

If you're interested in better developing and accessing your intuition, Tarot and journaling are two of the most powerful tools I know for building that connection. They ask better questions. They create space to hear yourself when the pace of work makes that almost impossible. They also make your life just a little bit more magical.

If a deeper connection to your intuition is something you crave, this August, I'm hosting an intimate end-of-summer retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Maryland -- a weekend of Tarot, journaling, hiking, bonfires, and sisterhood. Think of it like a deep pause before fall gets loud.

No Tarot experience necessary. All levels welcome. Spots are intentionally limited. Plus, I teach Tarot in a way that makes it accessible, practical, modern and empowering -- not fear-based or predictive.

August 21–23 | Knoxville, Maryland (one hour from DC). All details and registration here: https://www.catherinedandrews.com/tarot-retreat

If your intuition has been trying to tell you something... maybe this is it! Hope I'll see you in August in the mountains.

Sadly, a new Tarot deck *can’t* fix your entire life… but it can add an entirely new element of support, intuition, and magic — if you’re willing to let it.

When you begin to view Tarot as a support system; as a playful partner; as a wise, pocket-sized counsel; as something that truly wants the best for you, that’s when your Tarot practice (which may have been skeptical, fear-based, or rigidly rule-focused) REALLY blossoms.

Are you ready to take your Tarot practice from fearful to fun? From rigid to curious and flexible? From a set of strict rules to being able to read intuitively — and trust it?

That’s what my August Intuitive Tarot & Journal retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Maryland will do for you.

Over the weekend we’ll...

Wake up to sunrise in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, visit the Potomac, wind down around evening bonfires under open skies. Share meals made from homemade, organic food that nourishes you. Gather in sisterhood circles for honest, open-hearted conversation.

At the center of it all — Tarot and journaling. Whether you’ve never touched a deck or you read for others regularly, you’ll learn how Tarot creates a powerful container for self-reflection: helping you ask better questions, hear your own intuition, and get clarity on what your heart is actually calling for this season.

You’ll learn…

✨How to care for, clear the energy of, and store your Tarot deck
✨How to create a sustainable daily Tarot practice
✨How to create your own Tarot notebook/record-keeping to deepen your own understanding
✨ How to use Tarot to access your intuitive gifts
✨How to read for others
✨…And lots more, plus custom journal prompts, custom Tarot spreads, and my assistance on interpreting the cards that come up for you over the weekend!

No experience necessary, all levels welcome. Just bring yourself, a Tarot deck, a journal, and an open heart. The retreat center is just about an hour from DC, and 3-4 hours from NYC (Knoxville, MD). All deets linked in my bio. Let’s have our intuitive summer Tarot camp together, this August! Early bird registration ends May 15.

Some snaps from the most magical Sedona...

Here are some of my fave Sedona spots if you ever find yourself there. This is NOT an exhaustive or even “best of” list, just places I’ve always enjoyed going in my near-decade of annual trips to the vortex 🌀 Share your recs in the comments, too.

Food:
Local Juicery
ChocolaTree Organic Eatery
Coffee Pot Diner
Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen (lots of gluten free stuff)

Crystals: Crystal Magic

Readings, aura, psychic stuff: Crystal Magic Psychic Center (next door to their crystal shop)
Reiki - Christina Wooten (Sedona Medium, she also does psychic & mediumship readings) or Harmony Reiki

Spa - Sedona New Day Spa

Hikes: most of the trailheads have really small parking lots so go either really early or use the available shuttle service. I like Cathedral Rock, Mesa Airport, Soldier’s Pass, Sugarloaf (the summit is where I would go to see sunrise & sunset), Bear Mountain trail, West Fork Trail - but you really can’t go wrong with any of them

Peak Catherine: sunrise hiking, Sedona, morning pages journaling and… the Devil card 😈

I got this card often, so I feel like I can speak to its oft misunderstood medicine. It gets interpreted a lot as addiction to substances, alcohol, drugs or even materialism. But for the people pleaser and perfectionist (for whom I’m writing my upcoming Tarot book!) what the Devil most often represents is addiction to *control*. To not being able to feel safe without managing everything and everyone around you.

This is the core of codependency — the inability to feel okay unless everyone and everything around you meets your particular specifications of “okayness.” That might mean in order for you to feel safe, your partner can’t be in a bad mood. Or that you must be making a certain salary or have a certain amount of money in savings. Or your body has to look or weigh just so. Or pick your fighter — our needs for safety and control come in many different forms.

The Devil invites you instead into a different relationship with safety. He reminds you of the timeless quote: “You never had control, all you had was anxiety.” He reminds you that control is just an illusion, true safety can only be sourced from within, and believe it or not, you CAN find that internal peace and grounding with surrender and breath and trust and going within, no matter what is happening around you (though… I’m not saying it’s easy).

When the Devil appears in your cards, his invitation is to evaluate your need for control and ask yourself if it’s truly serving you. Slowly but surely, come into a new belief: you can only control yourself. You are okay. And that no matter what is happening around you, within you lies an eternal well is safety. You’ll be alright.

Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and believe.

(My Tarot book, Tarot for People Pleasers and Perfectionists: How to Use the Cards to Make Better Decisions, Set Boundaries and Finally Trust Yourself, will be out with in December 2027!)

Matriarchy now. It is the only way. (AND NO MATRIARCHY AS A SYSTEM DOES NOT MEAN THAT EXCLUSIVELY WOMEN ARE IN CHARGE, PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF, THOUGH HONESTLY THAT WOULD ALSO BE PREFERABLE)

"Sensitivity is what disrupts abusive norms" OH MY GOD I FELT THAT IN MY BONES (last slide courtesy )

Have a sweet weekend, sensitive ones.
