Today we are proudly celebrating FOUR years since opening the Golden Gate Karate School! 🥋🎉

We are incredibly grateful for all of the students, families, and support that have helped make this journey possible. What started as a dream has grown into an amazing community, and we could not have done it without each and every one of you.

We are excited and ready for a great day of classes, positivity, and celebration here at GGKS. Thank you for being part of our karate family and helping us continue to grow stronger together every year.

🥋🏆 What an unforgettable weekend at the 4th Annual Sunshine State Karate Tournament!

Thank you to every competitor, family, instructor, volunteer, and spectator who helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success. The energy, sportsmanship, and support shown throughout the day was awesome!! 

This year’s tournament was one of our biggest and most exciting yet — from the action-packed divisions to the incredible demonstration at the opening ceremony.

A huge thank you to Master Ramirez, Master Cruz, our senior students, staff, and all the parents who stepped up to help throughout the event. Your dedication and teamwork made this tournament possible.

We are beyond grateful to continue growing the Sunshine State Karate Tournament year after year and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

On April 18, 2026, the 4th Dan Classing and Clinic was proudly conducted at our school, Golden Gate Karate School in Naples, Florida. This distinguished event brought together testing candidates from both Tang Soo Do Karate, Inc. (Homestead) and our school, GGKS.

We commend all participants for the dedication, discipline, and commitment they demonstrated throughout this important milestone. Their performance during Dan Shim Sa truly reflected the spirit and principles of Tang Soo Do.

This occasion also marked another meaningful moment for the Tang Soo Do Seon Do Kwan Association, as Master Ramirez conducted a Kodanja Presentation.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Master Jensen on earning her Yuk Dan (6th Dan) and Sa Bom Certification, and to Master Cruz on achieving his Sa Dan (4th Dan) along with his Sa Bom (Master Instructor) Certification. These accomplishments represent years of perseverance, leadership, and dedication to the art.

We are proud to recognize their achievements and the example they continue to set within our association. May all practitioners remain committed to their journey and continue striving for excellence in Tang Soo Do for years to come.
