The North Star. Since the beginning of time, travelers have used it to navigate. If you have a belief system that you depend on to guide you in life, that is your North Star. Sometimes it is obscured by clouds. Sometimes it is difficult to see, like during the daytime when all is well. As it is a light in its own right, it shines most brilliantly in the deepest darkness of space.

What are the beliefs that guide you on a daily basis? What is YOUR North Star? If you have clarity and peace when you follow your dreams then it is a wonderful thing. I remember an epiphany I had when I went to Kosovo to work as a Civilian Police Officer with the UN. It never occurred to me that there were so many different types of police officers from around the world. It was quite an awakening and an education.
