Lakevue Teacher Kim Brown organized a fundraiser to benefit The Ronald McDonald House, again, this year!

Here's a word from Mrs. Brown: I had the honor, along with two of my students, of donating 153 pounds of pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House in Boise this morning on behalf of Lakevue Elementary School! This is a service project that my class facilitates at our school throughout the year. On Fridays, my students take turns going around to each classroom to collect and then bag up the pop tabs donated by our school's families. It's such an easy thing to facilitate, and it helps teach my students responsibility, compassion, and service. It's become my favorite end of the year event!

Shelley Remick is retiring! Mrs. Remick has been at Lakevue since it opened in 2008. Her passion for kids, learning and relationships is evident every day. We will truly miss you! Here she is with retired Lakevue principal, Leeta Hobbs.
