Hello world!

I haven’t been doing anything on my socials lately, what with being a mom on top of being busy so here is a little update on everything going on!

• My studio is almost full! It seems like overnight all of a sudden, but I am so excited to be teaching with a full schedule
• I am still directing the Canyon County Flute Choir
• I am now playing principal with the Canyon County Symphony
• I also serve on the board and do some graphic design work for CCS as well
• This summer I got to play for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival doing “Into the Woods” and it was so much fun
• I also recently subbed for 2/4 concerts in Boise Baroque Orchestra’s summer series of performances

I will do my best to keep up to date a bit better on this account, but no promises when I have my little monster with me all the time 🥰
(Quick shout out to all my students that put up with her distractions in lessons! She’s mostly cute, no complaints yet lol)

It’s a bit difficult to demonstrate in lessons lately 😂

Baby girl Leonora is back in lessons with me! She is VERY vocal and super distracting 😅 Luckily I have some awesome students who don’t mind because she’s so cute lol

When a student is learning high register, you do what you gotta do. But she is not happy about it 😅

I just have the best students 💛
It is difficult to say goodbye for the summer to Elise and Devany, but now Alyssa is moving away!

She has been my student for the last year and a half and has come SO far in that time. She will be incredible at her new school and with her new teacher!

I have to brag! This week Gabby found out that she made the Boise Phil Youth Orchestra! She worked so hard and so quickly as we picked music only two weeks before the audition date. I’m so proud of all the work she has done in just the few months we have been working together.

Today was our last lesson for a while, now that I am going on pregnancy leave, but I can’t wait to get back to work in the fall! I am so excited to see everything she will achieve!

32 weeks and just finished my final concert for a while 😅 it is bizarre looking into the future months knowing it will be the longest I have gone without playing for the last 20 years

One more week of teaching my amazing students and then a little break for the next weeks until she makes her appearance ♥️

Thank you so much CCFC for having me at the Flute Fling! It was such a pleasure to present a workshop and bring the Canyon County flutes to perform! Already looking forward to next year!

So excited to present a workshop at the CCFC Flute Fling in April!

My ensemble the Canyon County Symphony Flute Orchestra has been hard at work preparing for our next concert coming up in April! This rep has been so fun to work on, featuring familiar orchestral favorites by Vivaldi, Mozart, Ravel, Faure, and major flute choir composers including Ricky Lombardo and Catherine McMichael.
If you happen to be in the Boise/Nampa area, I hope you can make it!
