I finally got to work on moving the piglets to the pasture for some pasture clean up and management. The kids will be able to enjoy them now and they will enjoy cleaning up the underbrush. Hopefully, tomorrow I can knock out the other half and move them on over.

We're a little late making it this year, but the fire cider is DONE! John takes this way more faithfully than I do, but I can attest to it's efficacy. He did not get sick at all last year! Does anyone else make fire cider? What's in yours? I'll. Post a link to our recipe in the comments.

Want to feed these little cute pigs at co-op?

Simply bring your scrapes from home. But only vegetables, fruits, and meat please. We would like to keep them processed sugar, corn starch, and other chemicals free as possible. Please leave out all processed foods, dairy, and not from scratch breads.

The one exception to this rule is the jumbo marshmallows. We use these to train the pigs. I am not sure what it is about marshmallows, but they do the trick. 🤣

Can you believe we start the 2026-2027 school year next week! We are super excited and blessed to be able to offer these classes.

We will have the option for co-op students to arrive at 9:00 for a trail livestock and garden class. You MUST pre-register for this, as I need to make sure I have enough supplies.

If you are not a co-op member you do have the option to attend, or can attend on an upcoming Saturday. (We are not scheduling this until our newest bundle of joy arrives for practical reasons.)

The livestock class will focus on turkeys and rabbits basic care, a chance to feed the pigs and interact with the laying chickens and our geese security guards.

The garden class will focus on soil for the first day as it is the foundation of a healthy garden.

18-week Family Bible Curriculum for ages 6-12. Each study incorporates beauty subjects with Bible study, including daily Scripture readings, discussion and prayer prompts, hymns, poetry, and art study.

There is not much that is funner than a big pile of dirt to a kid. Especially when there are barried rocks to discover and dig up. 😁

Unfortunately this is for the driveway, but we are saving up to make a huge 9' x 12' sandbox for the natural playground. It will also be cleaner as this dirt stains.
