The Staff Service Awards ceremony will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the Cole STEM Building Atrium.
Staff Council will be honoring years of service, retirees and President’s Achievement Award recipients.

The SFA Staff Council met today to receive an update on flex time and comp time as presented by SFA VP and General Council Damon Derrick and Human Resources Executive Director John Wyatt. The council also discussed the recent town hall meetings presented by Dr. Weaver and Senior VP Gina Oglesbee.

This morning the Staff Council for 2025-2026 met for a kick-off workshop to develop the meeting calendar for the year, set priorities and goals for the council and associated committees as well as review meeting rules and procedures. We are excited to get to work for the great staff of SFA!
