Yesterday, we hosted our 51st annual Programming Contest. We had over 60 contestants participate with a winning team from each division. Congratulations to the winners! A special thank you to NacSpace for continuing to sponsor this event!

We had an excellent time meeting with our Advisory Council, today. We highly value their input and feedback regarding our academic programs. We are also appreciative of the time they spend talking with our students!

Hector Landero, President of the Computer Science Club, demonstrates the Arcade Machine at the ! The CS Club has designed, built, and programmed this arcade machine over the past decade. Showcasing the work to prospective students is always a fun treat!

After six wonderful years as the Administrative Assistant for our department, today we celebrated and wished Angela Perry well as she begins an exciting new chapter!

Angela has been promoted to Business Specialist with the SFA College of Sciences and Mathematics. While we will truly miss her daily presence in the Computer Science Department, we are so thankful that she will continue to be part of our college family.

Angela’s dedication, kindness, and professionalism have made a lasting impact, and we could not be prouder of her well-deserved promotion. Congratulations, Angela!

🚀 We are thrilled to share the project cybersecurity graduate student Adharv Sunil completed during his internship with SFA ITS. It was an incredible opportunity to apply cybersecurity skills and gain real-world experience. Thank you to the wonderful people at SFA ITS for supporting this experience!

This week, five of our Cyber Security graduate students presented their capstone research. This culminating project completes their graduate work and they will earn their graduate degree in Cyber Security on Thursday (5/8). We are so excited to be part of their academic journey. From Nigeria, Ofuafo will graduate with a degree in Cyber Security. Following graduation, he plans on working in the field of Cyber Security and helping organizations defend against cyber threats.
