Happy Founders Day to the Brothers of Mu Upsilon!!
Sigma Nu - Mu Upsilon Alumni Chapter
The Mu Upsilon chapter of Sigma Nu was chartered in 2003 on the principles of Love, Honor, and Truth.
The Alumni Chapter strives to carry on the brotherhood to life after college.
Brothers,
I hope you will join me in supporting the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation on the Annual Day of Giving. This year my Zeta Psi chapter Brother Troy Fontenote joined the effort as an Ambassador to raise funds to support our Foundation to support our collegiate brothers through the educational programming provided by College of Chapters, Lexington Leadership Institute, and the Leadership Consultants that visit our chapter multiple times each year. If you can give, please use the link below and support Troy’s effort as an Ambassador.
Hello everyone!

Alumni Weekend Fall 2020 October 23rd October 25th
Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is coping well with these incredibly unusual times. I'm certain every single one of us having to make substantial adjustments in our lives as the country fights to get rid of COVID-19.
The good news is that the response from my previous email about an active/alumni outing was overwhelmingly positive. We hope to proceed with plans to get together on Saturday, April 25. We will obviously monitor the status of virus and follow the recommendations of the CDC as we approach that date. If the situation has not improved a great deal as we get closer, we will move the date back and postpone the gathering.
We have decided on a venue: The Yardhouse in City Centre in Houston (800 Sorella Ct., Houston, TX 77024). This seems like a centralized location for most of our alumni in the area.
We will keep you posted and let everyone know if we need to postpone the event to a later date.
LHT,
Jarrod Evans, MY35
Houston Area Alumni,
I hope you and your families are all doing well. I am writing to let you know that the active chapter has reached out with open arms in a legit effort to re-establish a positive relationship with alumni. I have not seen an honest approach from the active chapter like this in a very, very long time. As you may have heard, the active chapter is doing well with new leadership. They are committed to working with alumni to achieve excellence, and they have taken the first step in reaching out to us for guidance.
The current Alumni Relations chair, Harrison Haines, has offered to come down to Houston with several key active officers to have dinner, or possibly something like a TopGolf event. The objective is to get face time and have them get to know us better, and vice-versa.
Details will come later, but this email is intended to gauge interest from you to see how many would like to participate. Obviously, the more alumni that can participate the better. If it ends up being just 3-5 of us, we will do a nice dinner. If 10 of us participate, we would want to invest in something bigger like TopGolf or some other fun event.
The date is set for Saturday, April 25.
Please reply directly to me or comment below if you are interested in participating.
Let me clear about the objective: This is only to establish a relationship. The active chapter has no intention of asking for money or any kind of monetary donation at this point. All they are asking is to get to know some of us better, and build a brotherhood with the alumni.
Again, I hope you are all doing well and I hope to see you soon as we work to do our part in helping our active chapter succeed.
With Love, Honor, and Truth,
Jarrod Evans, MY35
