CBDNA Performance Done!

It was an honor and a privilege to have been able to perform here and we will forever remember this day as a highlight in our time at SFA.

Bravo to Dr. Walburn and the Wind Ensemble trumpets in tonight’s performance of the CBDNA program!

After months of hard work, the band is going to take the stage at CBDNA and the trumpets are ready!🎺💜

Amazing performance from the SFA Symphony Orchestra trumpets!

Their sound filled the halls along side the rest of the orchestra. The many hours of rehearsal were well worth the outcome. Bravo! 🎺

Our Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band had their first performance of the semester. Amazing soloists from both bands and we are very proud!

Also make sure to tune into our Wind Ensemble concert next week where they will perform their own solo concert!

We’re going to the National Trumpet Competition!

6 studio members got together and rehearsed all semester and submitted a recording to enter the live rounds and the work paid off!

Beautiful concert from the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band last night!

Closing out the chapter of Dr. Viet Chong’s music at SFA, the bands played a magnificent program, each with a piece by Cuong himself and other pieces that had some connection to him.

The trumpets played beautifully and Dr. Walburn inspired us all to get back in the practice rooms in his solo performance with the wind symphony!

The SFA Trumpet Studio had an eventful past few weeks with some exciting performances that had yet to reach the spotlight!

On Sept. 23rd, the SFA Symphony Orchestra performed a concert of Latin music and the trumpets showcased their skills in the intense rhythms and meters!

That Friday, Sept 26th, we had our annual Fredonia Brewery Jazz gig. The Swingin’ Axes and the Swingin’ Aces killed the performances and the trumpets had a great time.
