This class is eligible for reimbursement through Fire Department Assistance - Texas A&M Forest Service, House Bill 2604.

The Uniform Doesn't Make the firefighter. The Mission and Mindset Does.

Social media has spent years trying to convince you that the fire service is supposed to be polished, perfect, and consensus-approved.
They want you to think it's about the aesthetic.

They're wrong.

This weekend at the Smoky Mountain Weekend Fire & Rescue Expo, we proved it.

We had guys from every background imaginable different families, different department patches, different ways of doing the job.
One of the coolest things to me was having other instructors that I look up to sitting in my class!

But looking around. Underneath the different gear and the different faces, there was one singular, unshakable mission:

Becoming dangerous, effective, badass firefighters, officers, and Chiefs.

We aren't here to look pretty for a camera.
We're here to talk shop, trade lessons, and raise the floor of what is acceptable in this profession.

A massive thank you to the dozens of guys who filled the room for my TAC Channel lecture. And a special shoutout to the those wearing the shirts.

That shirt isn't just fabric; it's a commitment to the fistfight of self-improvement.
The daily battle to be better than you were yesterday. To care about the guy next to you and know the individual not the payroll number.

This was one of the biggest turnouts we've seen. These guys aren't just going home; they're going home to be the friction their departments and crews need. They're going home to lead.

The fire service isn't a monolith of
perfect people. It's a brotherhood of individuals united by a Standard.

The mission continues.

TAC Team in full force Gatlinburg Tennessee!!! Great time Smoky Mountain Weekend Fire & Rescue Expo

A Houston firefighter is in the fight of his life and needs our support.

Josh Elliott has been diagnosed with stage-3 bladder cancer.

Friends, family and fellow firefighters are hosting a fundraiser Friday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pearland High School South. The event will include food, a silent auction, a car show, vendors, a DJ and family fun.

Please come out, donate if you can and help us show Josh and his family the strength of the fire family.
