🏎️ Start Your Engines, 5th Grade Parents! 🏁 (May 15, 2026)

​We are so excited to invite you to come see our students’ hard work in action! Our 5th graders have been busy designing, building, and testing their very own Derby Cars as part of a special STEM project.
​This hands-on activity has been a fantastic way for them to dive into creativity and engineering—and now it’s time to race! We would love to have you join us!

Race to Summer 5th Grade Derby Cars Come visit and view all the hard work our 5th graders put into these wonderful projects.

We want to give a special shout-out to three wonderful women from the DSC who joined us for Field Day last week! They put the "S" in DSC!

Priscila Garcia, Jennifer Garcia, and Chanequal Tatum came down to Mike Moses Elementary to specifically support our office staff.

Their willingness to help is exactly what makes Nacogdoches ISD such a strong and loving district! Thank you for the fast "YES" with no hesitation.

​The entire Mike Moses team truly appreciates you taking the time to support our office operations during such a busy event.

​Your presence made a world of difference for our staff and helped everything run smoothly.

​It was such a special day at Mike Moses as we welcomed back our former students for the Senior Clap Out! There is nothing quite like seeing these seniors walk the halls where their journeys first began.

​To the Class of 2026: we are so incredibly proud of how far you’ve come since your time here. Watching our staff and current students cheer you on as you head toward graduation was the highlight of our day.

​Once a Mike Moses student, always a Mike Moses student! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve next. 🌟✨

Fue un día tan especial en Mike Moses cuando dimos la bienvenida a nuestros antiguos alumnos para el Senior Clap Out! No hay nada como ver a estos ancianos caminar por los pasillos donde comenzaron sus viajes.

​A huge shout-out to GranDough Baking and Catering for treating our staff to some delicious cookies during Teacher Appreciation Week! They were a huge hit and definitely made our week a lot sweeter.

​We also want to give a special thank you to Mrs. Menefee for making the connection and helping coordinate this treat for our team. We love seeing our school community come together to support our amazing educators

Important Transportation Update

​Be advised that if your child attends the Boys and Girls Club, this past Friday was the final day until they open back up for the summer.

Please notify the front office immediately regarding any/all updates on transportation arrangements. This ensures all students are dismissed safely and correctly.
