The SFA Agriculture Department hosted the first annual Invitational Tractor Tech CDE at the Walter C. Todd Agricultural Research Center last weekend🚜

Students from 14 schools competed. In addition to working to debug the tractors, students also identified components and were tested on their knowledge of the equipment. The event was overseen by Mr. Donald McGuffin with the assistance of several Agricultural Engineering Technology students.

A big thanks goes to Jarvis Farm Equipment for generously providing the tractors! We also appreciate the time and energy given by the judges of the event.
