Good Afternoon,
New London's NJROTC hosted a drone competition today with about 6 units throughout the area attending this event. I want to thank the cadets that showed up today including Cynthia Gardner, Aaryn Bolgrihn, Jasmine Gardner, Ayden Harris and Isabella Sanches. We had some difficulties with our new drones, and had to borrow a drone from New London. The cadets were resiliant and finished strong as a team! Proud of these cadets for their work and dedication.

This Friday, the "Unit" will undergo their Navy's NJROTC Area Managers Inspection (AMI) at RobertE. Fitch High School's big gymnasium. The AMI is an annual evaluation by a Navy representative assessing a unit's operations, standards, and cadet performance in areas like drill, administration, uniform appearance, and leadership presentations to ensure alignment with Navy standards.
This inspection culminates with an award and promotion and the Pass-in-Review ceremony where cadets showcase their skills, leadership, and professionalism.

Please provide support and encouragement to all the cadets on this day.

Good Evening,

One of our cadets and her family experience a catastrophic fire in their home this past Sunday. A day before this cadet volunteered to assist Wreaths Across America in the Waterford area. The entire family has been displaced with a significant loss of their possessions. What ever you can do to support this family would be appreciated.

So Saturday cadets provided a color guard and assistance for Wreaths Across America at Jordan Cemetary in Waterford CT. This was our third year participating in this event.

Good Evening, Cadets, Parents/Guardians and Friends.

A couple of hours ago one of our cadets and the family exerperience a tragedy. All family members are safe but the home experience a fire. The cadet leadership Cadet Commanding Officer Knets and Executive Officer Christensen are coordinating a list of items needed by the family. Once move information becomes available we will use Parent/Student Square, School email and Facebook to keepyou informed of what is required.

Thank all cadets (11) that attended the SUBVETS of Groton CT's Thanksgiving meal service. In a little over an hour 600 meals we packaged and delivered to homebound people and first responders in the area. Additionally, about 400 sit down meals were served to service members, from the Submarine Base New London
