🌟 FALL ENROLLMENT IS OPENING AT LITTLE STEPS DAYCARE! 👣🩷🌟

Parents, it’s that time of year! 🍂📚 As some of our Little Steps friends get ready to head off to school, we are preparing to welcome new little learners and families into our Little Steps family!

We are currently working through our waitlist and contacting families who have previously expressed interest to see who is still looking for care. We want to make sure these upcoming spaces are offered to families who truly need them.

✨ Spaces will be available for children ages 1½–3years old. ✨

If you believe you are already on our waitlist, now is the perfect time to check in with us! If you are a new family looking for quality childcare this fall and would like to be added to our waitlist, we would love to hear from you! 💕

🚒🔥 Little Leaders in Action! 👩🏾‍🚒👨🏾‍🚒

Our littles have been learning all about community leaders and the important roles they play in helping our communities. This week, we put our learning into action by stepping into the shoes of one of our amazing community helpers, FIREFIGHTERS! 🚒❤️

Our little firefighters took on a fun Firefighter Rescue Obstacle Course! They had to:

🔥 Crawl through a tunnel
🔥 Hop over the “fire”
🔥 Use their water hoses to put out the flames 💦
🔥 Rescue animals in need 🐶🧸

This hands-on dramatic play experience allowed our littles to use their imaginations, problem-solving skills, gross motor skills, teamwork, and communication while learning about the important work firefighters do in our community.

Most importantly, they learned that being a leader means being brave, helpful, caring, and willing to help others. 🩷👣

Learning through play makes every adventure an opportunity to grow!

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Ms. LaQuita, who is officially celebrating ONE YEAR with Little Steps Daycare! 🥳

Ms. LaQuita, we are so grateful for the love, dedication, patience, and joy you bring to our Little Steps family each and every day. From our everyday classroom moments to all of the many adventures, field trips, activities, and memories we’ve shared along the way, you have truly become a special part of our journey. 🌸

August is National Breastfeeding Month! 🩷🤱🏾

At Little Steps Daycare, we believe supporting families means supporting the whole family, including parents who choose to breastfeed. 🫶🏾

National Breastfeeding Month is a time to LEARN, CONNECT, and ACT together to create a stronger landscape of support for babies and families. It’s also an opportunity to recognize the dedication, love, and commitment that breastfeeding parents pour into nourishing their little ones. 🌱

As a childcare provider, we are proud to be part of a village that helps families feel seen, respected, encouraged, and supported in the choices they make for their children.

Whether a family chooses breastfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, or a combination of feeding methods, every family deserves support without judgment. 💕

This month, we’re celebrating the parents, caregivers, and communities working together to give our littles the best possible start.

HAPPY NATIONAL SON & DAUGHTER DAY! 💙🩷

Today, on National Son and Daughter Day, we want to take a moment to shine a very special light on the children who started it all for us. 🥹

Before there was Little Steps Daycare, there was simply a mother and father who wanted to create something meaningful for their own children. Our children were the beginning of the dream. They were the reason we started, the reason we keep going, and the reason our hearts are so deeply invested in creating a safe, loving, nurturing environment for children.

There would be no Little Steps Daycare without the children we birthed. ❤️

Our daycare babies may fill our days with laughter, learning, hugs, and little footsteps, but our own children will always hold a very special place in the story of why we do what we do.

So today, we encourage our Little Steps families to hug your babies a little tighter. 🫂❤️
Tell them you love them. Remind them how special they are. Take that extra picture. Give that extra kiss. And, if they let you, hold them just a little longer.

Because sometimes our “why” is right in front of us in the little people who call us Mom, Dad, Mommy, Daddy, or simply home. 🥹💕

To our children: thank you for being our why.
To our Little Steps families: thank you for trusting us with your why. ❤️
