Programs through Family Services includes: Child Development Center for families with children 6 weeks through 4 years; School Readiness for families with children that turned four years old by December 2; and SEED.

The CDC hosted our first open house! It was amazing, we had aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, dads, and mom come out to support the children! There were so many families they could not all ft in one room to eat. Thank you to all the families and staff for all your support.

!How many Birthdays are in April? 2 staff + 2 students= 4! We loved all the singing and cooking this month! We have been having so much fun eating special treats! They have also loved learning about bugs. Last week watched two snails race and made clay snails. Donorschoice.org has funded two very wonderful projects for our classroom. We have another project posted that will get a computer into our room, and it only needs $37 to be fully funded. Please send this sight to all you friends and family, every dollar counts! Our last projects had 25 people donate $2 each and it was funded! The project is entitled advanced technology advanced teaching. Thank you for all that you do! Next Thursday May 2 will be a fancy day so please dress your child fancy Soon we will be having another parent breakfast! I’ll give you the date this week.

Room 6 April is filled with bug, bugs and more bugs! We are learning so much and having so much fun! Remember April 20, 2013 The Day of the Young Child will be hosted at our Child Development Center from 10-2pm. There will be many different free activities for the children to participate in and have fun! We hope to see you there! I have another projects posted on donorschoice.org, so far we have had 2 of our projects funded! Thank you so much for all that you do!!!

We had a wonderful week! We worked hard and took turns to make valentine cards! We made cupcakes for Calebs birthday and then on Valentines day! Thank you parents for coming in and having breakfast with us, we loved spending quality time with you and your families. Thank you for all the wonderful treats you shared with us for breakfast and through out the day, you are all a huge blessing!

Room 6 Jan 28-Feb 1 What a fun week!!!! Remember the PAC meeting is this Friday from 6-7 and child care will be provided, hope to see you there! We will start collecting valentine boxes and cards next week. Vday breakfast with parents is Feb 14 7:30-8:30, sign up for food will be posted next week:) Thank you for all that you do!

Room 6, it may have rained all week but that did not stop us from learning and having fun! I have a letter going home next week giving details about the following events. February1 is our next Parent Advisory Meeting. February 14 we will have a breakfast with parents 7:30-8:30 and a Valentine party!

The week of January 7 we read The Gingerbread Girl, decorated ginderbread paople, and baked ginger bread cookies. It was also our last week with four of or friends, they are moving into the older classes. They grow up so fast! We will miss them.

We had so many children, parents, and staff participate in the Murrieta Holiday Parade! Ms. Angie had her whole class from Murrieta Elementary Preschool, their parents, and a pony! We had families and staff from the Seed program, preschools, and Child Development Center joins the parade, while many others just came to watch. Thank you for all your support! It was an amazing night, we can’t wait to do it again next year!!!
