What a wonderful morning at the Calloway County Chamber of Commerce Breakfast on the Farm this morning!
We especially enjoyed seeing former Calloway Ag Teacher Larry Gilbert awarded the Calloway County Agriculture Legacy Award!

President and Vice President, Grayson and Jaylee took part in the Kentucky State Officer led Rising Sun Conference. They will be bringing this excitement and resolve back to our fellow member at Calloway. First up, MOTTO Day on a Monday for our freshmen members!

FFA members Walker Bell, Colson Crouch, Evan Falwell, Mason Falwell, and Cash Pittman have spent the past few days gathering commodities from their farms to show at the Kentucky State Fair. The trailer is loaded and ready to head East for a celebration of Calloway County Agriculture!

The officer team had a great morning at the FNB Ag Breakfast and enjoyed hearing from our KY Commissioner of Agriculture, Jonathan Shell. Thank you for your continued support of agriculture and the FFA!

Cassidy McAllister is an agricultural educator with seven years of classroom teaching experience and seven years of serving as an FFA advisor. This experience includes two years of middle school agriculture where she launched a brand-new program and FFA Chapter in Tennessee. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping students develop leadership, career readiness, and a deeper understanding of agriculture through hands-on, student-centered learning.

This year, Cassidy is joining Calloway County Middle School to build the school’s agriculture program from the ground up. She will teach agriculture electives for students in grades 6–8 while creating engaging learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students for future opportunities in agricultural education.

Cassidy looks forward to partnering with students, families, and the Calloway County community as she lays the foundation for a thriving agriculture program that will serve middle school students for years to come.
