Cherokee County Retired School Personnel

There are some lives that leave footprints far beyond the classrooms they once filled. Charles Forrister was one of those lives.
A devoted educator, respected leader, faithful servant, veteran, and lifelong advocate for his community, Mr. Forrister exemplified a life of purpose and quiet service. His influence will continue to live on through the countless students, colleagues, and friends whose lives were enriched by his wisdom, leadership, and unwavering commitment to others.
As a treasured member of the Cherokee County Retired School Personnel family, we honor his remarkable legacy with profound gratitude and respect. We extend our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to his family and all who knew and loved him. May they find comfort in the memories they hold dear and in the enduring legacy of a man whose life truly made a difference.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
