Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is excited to partner with Outdoor Murfreesboro to bring your family a semester full of outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and unforgettable memories!
Students will explore nature through engaging activities such as:
🏹 Archery Lessons & Tag Games
🥾 Habitat Hikes & Nature Play
🦉 Birds of Prey & Owl Pellet Dissections
✈️ Olivia's Bird Airplanes
🕷️ "Creepy Crawly Things"
🐾 Blurry Creatures Tracking Expedition
🔥 Campfire Safety & Feast
🐢 Tiny Turtle Thanksgiving
📅 Fridays, once per month (August–November)
⏰ 9:15 AM–1:00 PM
👧🧒 Two instructional groups: K–4th Grade and 5th Grade+
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents are encouraged to stay and join the fun!
💲$149 per student
💚 Legacy Family Partner Rate: $119 per student
This low-commitment program is designed to provide a high return on learning while giving students opportunities to explore God's creation, develop new skills, make friends, and enjoy the great outdoors.

💃🦁 NEW FOR 2026–2027!
Legacy Homeschool Resource Center is excited to introduce Dance Foundations + Legacy Lions Dance Team with Coach Evelyn Brown!
This exciting hybrid class combines dance instruction with performance opportunities as a member of the Legacy Lions Dance Team. Whether your student is brand new to dance or already has experience, this class provides a fun and encouraging environment to learn, grow, and shine.
Students will develop:
✨ Rhythm and Coordination
✨ Flexibility and Balance
✨ Dance Technique
✨ Choreography Skills
✨ Performance Confidence
✨ Teamwork and Sportsmanship
Throughout the year, dancers will learn a variety of dance styles while building confidence both individually and as part of a team. Experienced dancers will have opportunities to refine their skills, while beginners will receive the foundational training needed to succeed.
As members of the Legacy Lions Dance Team, students will perform at select Legacy Lions basketball games and other athletic events during the winter season, representing Legacy HRC with excellence, character, and school spirit.

Christian Filmmaking & Media Arts!

Do you have a student who loves movies, storytelling, acting, writing, or working behind the scenes? This hands-on class will give students the opportunity to learn the art of filmmaking while actually creating a short film every semester as a team.
Students will explore:

🎞️ Production Roles
🎤 Storytelling with Purpose

Nothing says “Welcome to Summer!” like a campfire dinner, s’mores for dessert, and a night hike with precious friends. While we’ve finished another great semester of Nature Co-op, this doesn’t have to be goodbye…we’ll be back in the fall with another semester of outdoor fun. Stay tuned for signups coming in June. 😊
