We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Freezerworks.

You’ll work directly with lab and biobank IT teams on deployments, troubleshooting, and support for our sample management platform, including a major new release.

It’s a hands-on role for someone who understands infrastructure, likes solving customer problems, and wants to work closely with the product. The samples our customers manage support research that changes lives, so getting the details right matters.

When a lab adds a second research group, it's not just doing more of the same work. It is managing multiple workflows, priorities, and data standards on infrastructure originally designed for one.

The same is true for biobanks.

A collection that grows from 5,000 to 50,000 samples requires more than just additional freezer space. It takes on a very different operational profile.

The changes are rarely dramatic at first.

Field structures that worked at a smaller scale begin creating inconsistencies. Informal requests handled through email become chain-of-custody questions during an audit. The person who always knew where every sample was is now managing people instead of retrieving aliquots.

A freezer map is only useful if you can trust it.

A box gets pulled. Two aliquots come out. The box goes back one slot to the left.

Now the physical freezer and the system disagree.

Freezerworks' Visual Freezers mirror the physical layout so each position is a real location. When samples move, their locations move with them.

At -80°C with a pull list, the freezer map can’t be a best guess.

It has to be the record.

Conservation biobanks plan in centuries, not grant cycles.

A sample banked today may be used by a scientist who isn’t born yet, studying a species that may no longer exist in the wild.

Your records have to outlast projects, tools, and staff.

That makes conservation biobanking a different kind of data problem.
