"Our byte-sized tech trek to Stripe felt like stepping into the pulse of modern fintech. We were welcomed at the reception by Yuzhe Guo, a proud CMU alum, whose warmth instantly set the tone for the visit. He led us on a lively campus tour that felt less like a walkthrough and more like a story of innovation unfolding in real time. Between casual chats and curious questions, Yuzhe pulled back the curtain on Stripe's engineering culture, grounded in rigor, humility, and a relentless drive to simplify money movement for the world. Over snacks, we dove into conversations about Stripe's tech stack and the elegant architecture behind its systems. Yuzhe also shared insights into Money-as-a-Service, the organization at the heart of Stripe's most forward-thinking initiatives, reimagining how businesses handle payments with precision and creativity. It was a rare peek into how technology, culture, and purpose beautifully intertwine at Stripe."
