Doubles Experts

Hi all, John is looking to get some doubles clinics started over at Cuesta Park for November and December. Who would be interested?

John has accepted a position as a partner with Mountain View Tennis at Cuesta Park. We plan to continue our adult clinics, but since John will be teaching Rec classes Tuesday nights, we'll need to find a new time. Please let us know your date and time preferences.

There will be no adult clinic this Tuesday and no Youngster Clinic this Saturday. See you all next week!

John and Tina will be playing mixed doubles in the first round of the Mountain View Open at Cuesta Park Friday (5/27) at 10:15am. John will be playing with Rich Smith in the men's doubles at 5:45pm on Friday. Come on out to cheer us on if you can!

Junior Team Tennis matches have started up again at Cuesta Park, so our Tuesday evening adult clinics are back at Mission College. Since we got rained out again this week, next week's topic will be volleys.

The topic for this Tuesday evening's adult clinic at Cuesta Park is volleys. We will cover touch volleys, angle volleys, deep volleys, reflex volleys, and even half volleys!

The topic for Tuesday night's clinic at Cuesta Park is court positioning and how it varies depending on the situation. We will also do drills to work on various types of volleys and when to use them for maximum effectiveness.
