Hello and welcome to "almost Fall". That time of year when it's still technically Summer, but the leaves have begun to turn a bit red at the edges, there is a slight chill in the air, and for me, pesonally, there begins a need for holiday spirit...for warm mugs of spiced cider and gathering around a fire. Here at Green Bean Kidz headquarters we are redoing the office, purging 25 years of teaching supplies (anyone need anything? really! ask me - I probably have it!) and rewriting all our lesson plans to reflect a more diversive, inclusive, sensitive, and volitile time. How do you deal with a world in crisis?

You go outside with your little, you take off your shoes, and take a deep breath...and then you know: you are safe right here right now under the shade of this tree.

We are growing a city garden here at Green Bean Kidz headquarters this summer, while we take a hiatus to do some some needed renovations! We will be back in Fall with classes to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature!

Mama squirrel is about to pop! @ Green Bean Kidz headquarters 🐿️ She is hanging out on the branch in the sunlight a couple minutes a day and boy does she look tired! Looking forward to baby squirrels soon!
That’s her on the left and her nest is that tumble of leaves 🍂 above her.
