My journey in the fitness world and as Stay Home Mom has been full of ups and downs, and deep lows where I feel like I don’t want to keep going, that I’m not progressing as fast as I want or that I don’t see any improvement. Because I do focus on what I don’t have, or on what I haven’t achieved, or on how fast others are progressing while I am not? This applies to many areas of my life. This year hasn’t been easy for me, even though I started it with courses and the best intentions for myself, life knocked me around pretty hard. Life gives us what we need to become better, not what we want, and God takes us down paths or through stories that people don’t see, stories they don’t know how to empathize with because they just don’t know. Life is preparing us for what’s coming, and the road is tough because you have to start with the hard battles to reach the top, and when we get there, we shouldn’t be alone. If we are, then something is wrong. We need to reach the summit accompanied by many because there are more mountains to climb from there, and life gives us lessons to become wiser so that we can share our experiences with the people, family, and friends we love and spend moments, days, months, or years with.
Here I am, speaking to myself and training not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, because I want to be a better human being for myself and for those around me. That is my daily inspiration. After working in the dark, it’s time to shine in the light and share it with others. Surround ourselves with everyone because every day teaches us something new in life, but we need to get closer to those who are achieving what you or I want to achieve and do it, start it with ourselves by fixing the garden so beautiful that the butterflies come to us, rather than us chasing the butterflies. We are unique and unrepeatable, and we came into this world to love, be loved, and contribute as much or as little as we can give within our possibilities. We need to focus on the big picture and not just on the chaos we’re going through because all storms pass, and afterward comes calm and reflection. Thank you for reading. I make my contribution to myself every day so that I can continue and contribute to my daughters, who are my life, and to those around me. And it all starts with love and service to ourselves first, and the rest comes naturally. A hug and thank you again for being here and reading.
