SIDONIE offers a line of original wallpapers crafted around the concept of paper itself, primarily working with origami and the related folds that result. The genesis of each design takes shape through a variety of initial folds, each new crease revealing the delicate marks that emerge in the process of its own undoing. Length or scale of existing patterns may be transformed or modified to taste.

The studio also considers custom projects for the home, business or unusual space. SIDONIE is a Los Angeles-based studio created by artist and designer Sidonie Loiseleux. She grew up in France, where she studied photography and printmaking at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris. She came to California in 2005 and received her Master of Fine Arts from California Institute of the Arts in 2008. Sidonie lives and works in Echo Park.
