🌊🐠 The second group of Rebecca School North students had an unforgettable adventure at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk! 🐙✨

Our students were filled with excitement and wonder as they watched sea creatures come to life right before their eyes.

A special highlight was seeing our amazing teachers bring the learning to life by bringing the visuals they used in the classroom and placing them right next to the real sea creatures. What a powerful way to connect classroom learning with hands-on exploration! 🌎💙

A huge shoutout to the staff and families who joined us to support our students on both trips. Your encouragement and involvement helped make these experiences more meaningful. We also want to recognize the incredible staff who stayed at school and made sure our students continued to be engaged, learning, and having fun while exploring new things!

We are so proud of our students, teachers, families, and staff for making learning such an amazing adventure! 🐬📚✨

Field trips are truly something special! 🌊✨

They're the moments when everything our students have been learning comes to life. The animals they've read about in books, explored through social stories, discovered in art, sung about in music, and played with in the classroom suddenly become real experiences they can see, hear, and explore.

These memorable adventures are the result of so much hard work from our students and staff through reading, community readiness, art, music, and hands-on learning. Every lesson helps build the confidence and skills our students need to experience the world around them.

Join us in celebrating our first group of students on their first-ever aquarium field trip! 🐠🦈🐢 We couldn't be more proud of all they accomplished and the wonderful memories they made along the way. Here's to many more adventures ahead! 💙

Our raspberry and blueberry adventures continue! 🫐❤️

This week, one group gathered together to explore frozen blueberries through sensory play, sharing space, and curiosity around the water. The students enjoyed discovering how the berries looked, felt, and changed as they melted.

Meanwhile, our other class put their berries to delicious use by making fresh smoothies!🥤 From adding the ingredients to blending and tasting, the children loved being involved in every step of the process.

These hands-on experiences encourage curiosity, teamwork, and confidence while making learning both meaningful and fun!
