The Mount Sinai Friends of the Arts (FOA) is a school-based, volunteer organization that supports the music, theater and visual arts in the school district for students from K – 12. Through generous donations of people in the district and their friends and family members, the FOA seeks to provide extras that would not be available through the school budget. Donations range from in-school plays and concerts, field trips and educational enhancements and also include the purchase and donation of equipment including color digital printers (photography), pottery wheels & a kiln (ceramics) and musical instruments for a drum circle.
