Summer 2026: Saltwater Week 2
It was a great week of fishing around the low country! We fished some great spots and practiced our knots by tying on homemade Carolina rigs.

Wow what a week! Freshwater Week 2 produced some giants and over 60 fish landed, measured and returned to the pond. Check out our catches!

Summer 2026: Freshwater Week 1 is done! We caught 58 fish this week including catfish, bass, bluegill and sunnies! Lots of patience and persistence paid off with some great catches. Everyone stocked up on some great gear as well. Hopefully these kiddos learned enough to continue catching fish this summer.🎣👏🏻🎉

These are the Big Catch Fishing Bros who smash records! These boys caught record breaking fish one year apart in the exact same location. Crazy thing is, the length of these fish was also exactly the same! 22.5”!

Saltwater 2026: Week 1
The fishing was ON this week! We caught 50 fish including a record breaking 22.5” spotted sea trout and a record number of flounder. It was a week to remember!🎉🎣👏🏻

Registration for Summer 2026 is LIVE!

New for Saltwater Summer 2026: This year I studied the tides and carefully selected the weeks for saltwater week based on the tide schedule. Hopefully we will hit the peek bite with the weeks I selected.

Saltwater Week 2, 2025, was a tough week of fishing. The tides and HEAT were against us this week producing a record low number of fish caught in a week. These campers were troopers though! They practiced the 2 “P” words: patience and persistence. Thankfully our persistence paid off on the last day of camp with 8 fish caught!🎉

Freshwater Week 2 2025 was great! Lots of fish were caught despite battling daily rainshowers. We didn’t let the rain slow us down! The fish don’t care that it’s raining 😆!

Saltwater Week 1 2025 was a success! Biggest fish of the week was a 22” black drum. Other species caught included lots of toadfish, spade, pig fish, Black Sea bass, hogchoker, stingray and blue crab. The kids caught fiddler crabs and threw a cast net to catch live bait. Hopefully everyone learned how to tie an improved clinch knot to rig a pole and most importantly learned that fishing takes patience and persistence. It was a great week!
