Today we’re celebrating the incredible impact Kennedy has made on our team, and especially on our customers.

Kennedy is one of the very first people our customers get to know when they begin their journey with Luma. She helps onboard them, guides them through the platform, answers their questions, and makes sure they feel supported from the very beginning.

And if you know Kennedy, you know she does all of that with patience, kindness, and a genuine desire to help people succeed.

Onboarding is about so much more than teaching someone how to use technology. It’s about building trust. It’s helping someone feel confident when something is new. It’s creating a relationship that says, “We’re here with you.”

Kennedy does that every single day.

On The Courage to Create, our own Dr. Gina Anderson sat down with James Boyce(J.R.), a professional truck driver and creator of Trucker Tote to talk about how his experiences on the road inspired him to start building solutions for other drivers.

J.R.’s story is one of persistence and learning as you go. He didn’t come from a product development or entrepreneurial background. He simply saw a problem he understood well and started working on a solution, learning about prototypes, business, sales, and entrepreneurship along the way.

Their conversation also touches on something we believe deeply at Luma: meaningful change doesn’t always happen all at once. J.R. shares how making small, consistent improvements has shaped not only his approach to creating Trucker Tote, but other areas of his life as well.

We love seeing Gina share stories like J.R.’s because they remind us that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes experience, curiosity, and the willingness to keep learning are exactly where creating something new starts.
