A year and a half into the grueling battle of advocating for justice, I realized I needed to understand the "law lingo". Although I studied criminal justice in college, I was no longer familiar with procedural court and trial terminology. One year ago, I received my Paralegal Certificate from UT Knoxville. Since our case is over, my goal now is to help other families maneuver through the process and continue to educate teens and adults on the awareness of child sexual abuse.
