What better way to kick off the new semester than setting the record straight about something everyone has been wondering for quite some time.

We asked our students how to pronounce the name of the music academy where they took lessons and the answers were…interesting 🫣
Charles, catamus, cherries, chair-iss, char-iss, Shareece 💁‍♀️, we heard it all.

For the official record, it is pronounced “CAR-iss” which is Greek for the word “grace”. Thank you for attending our TedTalk.
