Registration Now Open for 4-H Pig Squeal!

Cost: $200.00- Check made payable to ALABAMA 4-H FOUNDATION

Deadline is November 16, 2026

The 4-H Pig Squeal program is designed to teach 4-H members recommended management practices for raising and caring for swine. Participants will develop essential swine management skills, learn how to produce healthy pigs, gain an understanding of business management, and practice record-keeping for income and expenses. At the end of the project, youth will show and auction off one of their two pigs.

The deadline to apply for Ignite by 4-H in 2027 has been extended to October 5! 🌟🚀🍀

Hosted by National 4-H Council, Ignite brings together teens from all across the U.S. to Washington D.C. to immerse themselves in hands-on workshops, experiences and activities in their desired program area. 4-H'ers can choose from agriscience, animal science, community accelerators, CWF @ Ignite, STEM or healthy living.

With the addition of public speaking, career and life readiness and presentation workshops, participants will apply what they learn to their own life and take a step toward becoming .
