Day Two-
Exciting day so far. After design review it was announced we made it to design finals tomorrow afternoon! We then went out and passed mechanical inspection and got our drivers certified. We also had our marketing presentation where we scored about mid pack. So tonight, in order to pass final electric tech, we are doing some high voltage work. Long night ahead. GO VANDALS! And remember to vote!

Day one -

Vandal hybrid racing arrived early Monday morning to cracked rear brake rotors... A disheartening start was overcome after a discussion with mechanical tech inspection judges and some fantastic welding work by Jon. Thanks to New Hampshire Motor Speedway staff for allowing us to use there metalworking shop! With the rotors fixed we were also label to finish electrical pre tech before the day was wrapped up and get a few minor things in place so that we can head into full electrical tech first thing this morning.

Today's agenda includes the design event at 11:30 and the marketing event at 3:00. We are also planning on completing both tech inspections as well as sound tilt and brake! Stay tuned for more updates!

As you can see spirits are high after day one; well enough papa tut wanted his Idaho speedo on to compliment this picture (be glad we talked him out of this). Plenty of hurdles the first day but nothing we couldn't handle. Back on our feet and at it early tomorrow! Fans, please remember to vote, vote and vote again! If you ain't first you're last!
